Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. DTM works fully on your phone, even with no signal. Sign in only if you want your training backed up and synced, or to use the AI coach.

How do I sign in?

Go to Profile → Account & backup, enter your email and tap “Email me a code”. Type the code from the email into the app. There’s no password to remember. If the email doesn’t arrive within a minute, check your spam folder.

I got a new phone. How do I get my training back?

Install DTM, tap “Already have an account? Sign in” on the welcome screen, and use the same email. Your plan, workouts and lifts come straight back. Progress photos are stored only on your old phone, so save them to your camera roll before you switch.

Why did my weights change?

The plan moves your weights from what you log: hit the top of your rep range and the weight goes up; struggle and it holds or eases off. A rough readiness check-in or a deload week also lightens the day on purpose. The AI coach can explain any change: just ask it.

The coach says I’ve reached today’s limit

Each person gets a daily number of coach questions. The limit resets at midnight (UTC).

Deleting your account

In the app, go to Profile → Account & backup → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and everything backed up in the cloud, straight away. What’s on your phone stays until you choose Reset everything in Profile. If you can’t access the app, email support@dtmfitness.org from the address you signed in with and we’ll delete it for you.
